One-Pot Pasta with Zucchini Noodles and Tomatoes

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is eat. While of course family vacation and beach days are nice, summer’s bounty is unmatched. With plenty of seasonal fruits, veggies, and garden-fresh herbs in the kitchen, it’s a great time of year to experiment with new recipes. The Test Kitchen decided to take the one-pot pasta recipe trend and make a low-carb version using zoodles. Whether you are cutting carbs or are a super fan of summer squash, you’ll definitely want to add this summer one-pot pasta with zucchini noodles and tomatoes to your rotation.

Slow Cooker Summer Creamed Corn

Every year on a business trip to Des Moines, Iowa I go to 801 Chophouse.  Religiously, I have been going to 801 for at least 10 years (sometimes twice in one year, if I’m lucky). Alabama White BBQ Sauce

Hamilton Beach HQ is located outside of Richmond, Virginia, so the staff here is most familiar with barbecue from our neighbor to the south – North Carolina-style bbq. But there are so many barbecue styles and sauces to enjoy all over the country. From NC-style pulled pork to saucy Texas brisket, ‘tis the season for barbecue. This summer we wanted to expand our ‘cue catalog. We’re steering away from the tomato-based bbq sauces you’re used to and making an Alabama staple – Alabama white sauce.

Use your blender to make homemade snow cones this summer

UPDATED July 1, 2020: Summer is here and that means we’re doing all we can to stay cool. In my house, that usually involves frozen treats—and lots of them. Ice cream, sorbet, popsicles, snow cones, you name it. Why wait for the ice cream truck to make its way down the street when you can make a delicious frozen treat in the air-conditioned comfort of your own home? We can’t stop making these homemade snow cones – and when you try them, you’ll see why.
