Breakfast may be in the name, but the ingenuity of the breakfast sandwich maker knows no bounds when mealtime hits. These recipes will guarantee your breakfast sandwich maker gets used for lunch, dinner and even dessert.
1. Taco cups
This miniature take on a taco bowl is a great way to use leftover taco filling. Just layer a flour tortilla in the bottom cooking plate so it forms a bowl shape, and load it up with meat and cheese. After five to six minutes, the tortilla will be crisp and the filling will be warm. After removing it from the breakfast sandwich maker, pile on any other toppings you want, like tomatoes, salsa, onions, lettuce, sour cream and cilantro. Read the full how-to here.
2. Stuffed French toast
These French toasts are perfectly portioned. Cinnamon bread soaked in egg cooks up quickly in the breakfast sandwich maker, while the strawberry cheesecake filling only requires 3 ingredients. Here’s how we did it.
3. Huevos rancheros
Huevos rancheros has long been a Sunday brunch staple, but now it’s easy enough to make any morning of the week. The tortilla, beans and cheese warm up nicely on the bottom cooking plate, while the egg, onions and peppers cook just above. View the full step-by-step.
4. Mini pizzas
These English muffin pizzas are the perfect after-school snack. We finished them off with pepperoni and green peppers, but you can use whatever combination of toppings you have handy.
5. Molten lava cake
Yes, your breakfast sandwich maker can even be used for dessert! The outside of this chocolate cake gets cooked just right in 8 minutes, while the inside stays warm and gooey. Here’s how to make it.
6. Grilled cheese sandwich
Craft the perfect comfort food in just a couple of minutes. Use the removable rings of the breakfast sandwich maker to cut the bread into 4-inch circles for a perfect fit. See the steps here.
7. Ramen burger
You don’t need to travel to Brooklyn to try chef Keizo Shimamoto’s iconic ramen burger. In lieu of a standard burger bun made of bread, this one is made of ramen noodles. Trust us—everyone should try this at least once. Watch the how-to video.
8. Grilled pimento cheese and bacon sandwich
You’re never too old for a classic grilled cheese, but if you’re in the mood for something a little more elevated, this version uses pimento cheese and bacon.
9. Warm chocolate croissant
For those mornings you need something sweet, try out our recipe for a warm chocolate croissant in the breakfast sandwich maker. All you need is the croissant and a little chocolate-hazelnut spread—and maybe a cup of coffee.
10. Reuben sandwich
Stacked high with corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese, this hearty sandwich will become your new lunchtime staple in no time. Get the recipe here.
11. Monte Cristo sandwich
This is the perfect sandwich to utilize Thanksgiving day leftovers. Dipping one half of the English muffin in egg before cooking gives extra texture and crispness to a turkey, ham and Swiss sandwich. A layer of cranberry sauce adds brightness.
12. Bacon and cheese omelet
If you’re looking for a hearty breakfast without any bread, this recipe delivers. The 2-egg bacon and cheese omelet comes together quickly in the breakfast sandwich maker, and you can completely customize it to your taste.
13. Grilled pepperoni pizza sandwich
When a pizza craving strikes, this recipe is far quicker than waiting for delivery to arrive. Here’s how to make it.

Keep this coming
I don’t like hard or crisp toasted English Muffins for my breakfast sandwich, but my new Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich maker toast the bottom muffin hard. I will lower the timing to 4 min. from 5, but is there any other way to prevent this problem. Love the machine otherwise.
What if you put a layer of foil between the two?
