There are many ways to fuel your day with your favorite greens. Whether it’s a loaded kale salad, sweet and spicy collards, or matcha muffins, greens don’t just look pretty; they can be delicious and nutritious, too. If you’re looking for a simple yet satisfying way to load up on the goodness of greens, try this easy Green Power Smoothie recipe.
Our Green Power Smoothie is a plant-based powerhouse of flavor that combines apple juice with the zing of a Granny Smith apple, the sweetness of green grapes, and the nutrient-packed punch of kale. Avocado adds to the rich green color and provides a velvety-smooth texture.
Vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants
Green smoothies are a great way to supercharge your day while adding essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients to your diet. For instance, green grapes contain strong antioxidants such as resveratrol and flavonoids. Kale is a good source of vitamin C, vitamin K, potassium, and calcium. Apples are high in fiber, especially when you eat them with the skin. Blend them together, and you’ll have a quick and easy breakfast or a nutritious afternoon pick-me-up.
Blend your way to green goodness
A powerful blender makes it easy to harness the power of greens and transform them into a thick and creamy smoothie. Just add apple juice, a granny smith apple, half an avocado, green grapes, kale, and ice to your blender jar. Cover and blend until all ingredients combine. Whether you’re looking for a cordless portable blender, a 2-in-1 blending and juicing machine, or a high-performance blender with superior ice-crushing capabilities, Hamilton Beach has an option that fits your needs.
