Game Day Grub: Taco Bar

For football fans, there’s nothing better than getting together with friends to watch our favorite football teams battle it out. And we’re sure you’ve been to many gatherings where the snacks have included the expected chips and dip, mini weenies, or chicken wings.  Why not make something a little out of the ordinary for your next gathering?

Everyone loves tacos, but you rarely see a taco bar at a game day get together. A taco bar requires just a bit of prep work (easily done the night before – and even easier if you use a food processor to shred the lettuce, cheese, onions and other toppings). You can even prepare the meat ahead of time and keep it warm and ready-to-serve in a slow cooker. For potlucks and tailgating parties, we suggest our football slow cooker, Party Crock or Wrap & Serve slow cooker.

You could also use the Connectables slow cooker, allowing you to plug in multiple appliances at once – like the Breakfast Burrito Maker. Your guests can make themselves a custom beef taco or chicken burrito to enjoy in between high-fives and checking fantasy stats.
