Cherry Almond Smoothies – #Smoovember Winner Week 1

Cherries and almonds remind me of pie and the holidays. Bring it all together in a decadent smoothie worthy of dessert in our Cherry Almond Smoothie. Serve them in small glasses with colored paper straws for a party or take it to work for a sweet and satisfying breakfast.

Banana Nut Smoothies

Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup old fashioned oatmeal
  • 3 bananas, peeled, broken into chunks
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups ice cubes (20 crescent shape)

Instructions

  1. Place ingredients in blender jar in order listed.
  2. Cover and blend on AUTO SMOOTHIE setting or PULSE a few times, then blend on HIGH for 30 to 45 seconds.
