Heart-Shaped Mini Pizzas

Every Valentine’s Day, pizza chains share the love with customers by making heart-shaped pizzas available to order for one day only. These pizzas are a cute way to say “Pie Love You,” but they’re are just as easy to make at home as they are to order. So this Valentine’s Day, put down the phone and get in the kitchen with your loved ones.

These heart-shaped mini pizzas couldn’t be easier to make. All you need is some pizza dough, a heart-shaped cookie cutter, pizza sauce or your favorite marinara, and your toppings of choice. We chose to keep it classic and opt for cheese and mini pepperonis (they fit perfectly on the mini pizzas).

Roll out your dough (you could use store-bought or homemade) and cut out hearts with the cookie cutter. We used a 5-inch cookie cutter that we ordered online.

Once the hearts are cut out, the fun begins. Fill up bowls so the kids, your GF/BF, or the entire family can pick and chose their favorite toppings.

We layered pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, and mini pepperoni on top. But you could add black olives, halved grape tomatoes, or any other miniature pie toppings you can think of.

Whether you want to skip the reservation and do a date night at home or enjoy a pizza-making party with the entire family, this Valentine’s Day recipe is an easy way to let your loved ones know they have a pizza your heart.
